OUR ORIGIN

CTZN was born out of frustration with a broken campaign system and a disengaged electorate. Our founders set out to build something better: a platform where voters can easily connect with candidates and causes that matter, and take action to shape the future of their communities.

What began as a small idea is growing into a movement to reclaim civic power – one informed citizen at a time.

We identified the problem: Voters are frustrated that they are far removed from their candidates, while candidates cannot communicate with a majority of their voters in a cost effective manner.

ASHISH DHRU

Founder & CEO

Before founding CTZN in 2023, Ashish built a career at the intersection of technology, government, and politics - working inside the system to understand it, and now, breaking down its barriers. He has led tech initiatives at FINRA, Booz Allen, and EGT, supporting agencies like the Department of the Interior, EPA, and HHS. Ashish also worked for Congresswoman Susan Davis (D-CA) and on local campaigns in Maryland, which allows him to bring a powerful blend of policy insight and technical expertise to civic innovation.

NEHA DHRU

Chief Operating Officer

With over 20 years of experience in marketing strategy, technology, and operations, Neha has built and led high-impact teams at Blackboard, Institutional Shareholder Services, and Wiley to drive revenue growth and brand transformation.

Now, as COO at CTZN, she’s leveraging that expertise to disrupt the outdated political landscape with technology that makes participation seamless, scalable, and accessible.

CTO

Siddharth is a technologist who specialises in organisational design and psychology. He has an MBA from IIM Bangalore and started his career as an investment banker. Later he found his way back to his first love - programming and startups.

He's a 2x founder with 0x exits and his claim to fame is that he used to be CTO of shaadi.com.

As CTO at CTZN, Sid is a leader with profound expertise, out to disrupt politics.

MARKETING

Kristen Moledo is the co-founder of EK Marketing and has led the Content Marketing and Creative Team at Wiley. Throughout her tenure at Wiley, she held multiple communications and marketing roles, consistently bringing brands to life.

A graduate of Ramapo College with a degree in Literature and a minor in Creative Writing, Kristen applies these skills daily in her professional work. At CTZN she crafts marketing strategies and creative concepts, she's also the scribe behind all the great content.

Namrata

PRODUCT OWNER

Namrata is a seasoned Product/Design Strategist with 12+ years of experience creating digital solutions across various sectors.

She specialises in extracting user perspectives, bridging design with business and technical teams, and delivering outcomes through experiments.

She has built, mentored teams and established user research practices. At CTZN she leads product development and research.
